channel island ringing scheme ringing in Guernsey with Chris

Ringing in Guernsey started soon after the war and is continuing today in Guernsey there are 6 lisence ringers and 2 trainees Jersey has 2 ringers and 1 trainee with no ringers in Alderny at the present time with the Channel Island ringing scheme covering the whole of the Channel Islands we have 2 colour ringing projects.

With the winds SE to S force 3/4, I met Phil at Jerbourg at 7.00 am and open 5 nets
We rung Twelve new birds in three hour 4 Redwing 2 Goldcrest 1 Firecrest 2 Robins 1 Great tit
1 Black bird 1 ChiffChaff  Pictures of Firecrest and Goldcrest
and yesterdays Garden Warbler
